We'd love to welcome you to our winery, where tradition and innovation come together to immerse you in a world of emotions and sensations that blend history and avant-garde. Jaume Serra is located on top of a hill that gently descends towards the Mediterranean Sea in Vilanova i La Geltrú (Barcelona).
Our origins date back to 1647, the year a place called El Padruell was built, a walled estate that since the 17th century served as protection for an old fortified farmhouse which, according to legend, had a passageway connecting it to the village.
The only large family-owned cava winery
In 1986, this winery in Vilanova i La Geltrú was inaugurated, and the construction of the winery and the planting of vineyards began, which was completed in 1986.
In 1997, the García Carrión Family acquired Bodega Jaume Serra.
Jaume Serra is surrounded by a 125-hectare estate of vineyards with the Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Tempranillo, and Chardonnay varieties.
